  I had family visit in multiple rounds this summer and refined this list over time (in order of awesomeness),
  
  Mt. Rainier
  Olympic National Park (entire trip is long, so can limit to just Port Angeles and Hurricane Ridge)
  Pike Place Market
  Bainbridge Island (do the return ferry at dusk when Seattle downtown is lighting up)
  Alki beach (on a clear day)
  Mt. Baker
  Seattle Premium Outlets (for great shopping :)

  Here is my list of must-visit places in Seattle area:
  * Mountain Rainier National Park (2~3 hours away from Seattle)
  * Space Needle and around (Seattle)
  * Pike Place Market (Seattle downtown)
  * Snoqualmie Fall (Fall city, 30min ~ 1 hr away)
  * Boeing Factory Tour
